At Best Tutors Online, we are committed to providing every student with a high-quality learning experience. We
kindly request all Tutors to observe the following professional standards:
- 1. Subject Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of your subject and regularly practise relevant past paper questions to remain familiar with examination standards.
- 2. Reliable Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection to minimise interruptions during Lessons.
- 3. Writing Tablet: Where possible, use a writing tablet or similar device to provide clear explanations and work through questions effectively.
- 4. Power Backup: If power interruptions are common in your area, please make appropriate arrangements to minimise disruption to scheduled Lessons.
- 5. Suitable Equipment: Conduct Lessons using a laptop or desktop computer rather than a mobile phone to ensure the best learning experience.
- 6. Punctuality: Join each Lesson on time and be fully prepared before it begins.
- 7. Notice of Absence: If you are unable to attend a scheduled Lesson, please inform Best Tutors Online and the Client at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.
- 8. Professional Conduct: Treat every Student with patience, kindness, encouragement, and respect.
- 9. Appropriate Language: Maintain a professional learning environment by avoiding offensive, inappropriate, or vulgar language and jokes.
- 10. Respect Privacy: Do not request or share personal information relating to Students or their families unless it is necessary for the delivery of the Lesson and authorised by Best Tutors Online.
- 11. Professional Integrity: Please do not make private tutoring arrangements with Clients introduced through Best Tutors Online without prior authorisation.
- 12. Online Safety: Do not record, capture, or publish any part of a Lesson on social media or any other platform without the prior written consent of Best Tutors Online and the Client.
- 13. Give Your Full Attention: During each scheduled Lesson, devote your full attention to the Student(s) assigned to you and avoid teaching other Students at the same time.
- 14. Use AI Responsibly: We encourage Tutors to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly to enhance learning. AI can be a valuable tool for creating analogies, diagrams, acronyms, and alternative explanations that help Students understand and remember difficult concepts. However, AI should support your teaching expertise, not replace it. Always review AI- generated content to ensure it is accurate, appropriate, and aligned with the syllabus.
